The Pearl, Newcastle Upon Tyne
The Pearl is A 1960s landmark in the heart of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, this imposing building is one of five in the UK and is undergoing a transformation. The roof over an upper floor is to be opened up to provide light and ventilation into the centre and the provision of smaller office units within will give the building a new lease of life. Its external appearance will be brought right up to date with a softly lit glowing band wrapped around it’s top floor.
